Brown takes gold at PMGC

Graham Brown was the daily winner of the men’s Stableford event at the Pambula-Merimbula golf course on Wednesday, March 30 with a score of 42.

A grade winner of the Bega Valley Motors-sponsored event was Nick Townsin with a score of 39 ahead of Stephen Mulvogue on 38.

Michael Mulvogue took out B grade with a score of 37, ahead of Mollymooks Frank Schnoor on 13.

C grade winner was Pete Sverdrupsen with a score of 40, ahead of Alan Pearce on 39.

D grade was won by Graham Brown with a score of 42, finishing ahead of David Langdon on 40.

This week 45 winners collected a ball in the ball competition.

Nearest the pin was taken out by Terry Brooks on the 11thhole, Doug Townsin on the 17th,Brown on the 22ndand Rod Smith on the 27th.

On Saturday,April 2 the Greg Acret sponsored event at the Top Pub Commercial Hotel in Pambula saw Jim Wilson win the April monthly medal with a score of 66.

Wilson was also the day’s A grade winner ahead of Anthony Griffiths on 70.

B grade was won by Allen Roberts with 68, ahead of Snow Doneman on 69.

C grade was taken out by Allan Metcalfe on 70, ahead of runner-up John Jessup on 71.

Joel Sverdrupsen won D grade with 71, while runner-up Neil McDonald finished on 72.

Lowest off the stick winner wasDamon Welsford with 70.

Balls were awarded down to 73 with31 winners.

Nearest the Pin was won by Chris Mathieson on the fourthhole, John Campbell and Ben Charlton on the sixth hole, Darren Heikkila on the 11thand Matt Noble on the 17th.

The Sails Real Estate golden shot award of $222 went to Ben Charlton on the sixth hole.

The Ladies results on Tuesday, March 29, saw Wendy Maxworthy become the daily winner on 36.

A grade was won by Maxworthy ahead of Carol Drucza on 35.

Barb Studholme won B grade on 35, ahead of Fiona Stafford on 32.

Nearest the pin was Wendy Fleming on the sixth hole, Michele Martin on the 11thand Maxworthy on the 17th.

The Sails Real Estate golden shot award of $54 went to Wendy Fleming on the sixth.

A grade winner on Thursday, March 31 was Pam Appleby on 33,ahead of Pam Eaton on 31.
